Ivan Kustura

Many of the covers of IPO's jazz releases are from artwork by the wonderful painter Ivan Kustura. Ivan was born in 1951, in Croatia (at that time Yugoslavia). He graduated from the Art School in Split in 1969. He then attended the Fine Arts Academy in Venice, Italy from which he graduated in 1976. After exhibitions in Split, Venice, and Milan, he moved to the United States in 1976. His numerous solo New York exhibitions include shows at Vorpal, O.K. Harris, Di Laurenti and Rey Kerr galleries. Recently, he has also been exhibiting at Peter Marcelle Contemporary in Southampton and Pamela Williams Gallery in Amagansett. Ivan currently he lives and works in Berlin Germany.
